I think this is the most colorful wide field area to image in our night sky. This is just to the right of the Milky Way's central plane. There is so much going on in this image. You have several bright stars, a couple of star clusters, different nebulae, and of course lots of color. I attempted to image this scene at Cherry Springs State Park but there were fast moving low clouds populating the southern sky. This limited me to about 18 minutes of exposure.
