Jupiter is the first thing I ever saw through my telescope. I was so out of focus, it looked like a big, bright circle. I didn't even know I was aiming at Jupiter, I thought it was a star! Then I moved the focuser around a bit and voila! Jupiter and it's magnificent details came into view. I wanted to share this view with others. This is how I accidentally got into the astrophotography hobby. Here you can see the progression of my images of Jupiter.
